Weekday Tours
Visiting during the week gives you a chance to see classes in session, meet with an academic department representative, and ask important questions of the financial aid staff…questions like “How am I going to pay for this?” Tours are offered twice daily.
The morning tour begins at 9:00 am and includes:
- a group presentation highlighting Michigan Tech’s academics, student organizations, and admissions process
- tours of the Student Development Complex (our athletic facility) and the U.J. Noblet Forestry Building
- a walking tour of campus with a current student as your guide
- lunch in one of our residence halls with your student guide
- an informational meeting with the academic department of your choice
The afternoon tour beings at 2:00 pm and includes:

- walking tour of campus with a current student as your guide
Saturday Tours
Saturday tours are offered once a month and include a group presentation, walking tour of campus, and lunch in one of our residence halls. Other than Open House and Preview Day, visiting on a Saturday means you’ll miss out on meeting with an academic department.

Husky Host Program
