Studying abroad offers an endless array of benefits. You’ll immerse yourself in the day-to-day life of a foreign culture. You’ll meet fascinating people. You’ll learn from acclaimed foreign scholars. You’ll make new friends and gain historical, artistic, and cultural perspectives that most people can’t even imagine.
With programs in over thirty-two countries—including Costa Rica, Korea, Australia, and Ghana—you can create an international experience that's right for you. And who says study abroad can't fit in your schedule? There are lots of options through semester- and year-long programs or summer programs. Or, you can study railroad engineering, geology, or foreign policy through Michigan Tech faculty-led programs in places such as Finland, Africa, and Estonia.
Study Abroad Scholarships
You will have the opportunity to apply for a number of scholarships specifically aimed at international learning experiences. Also, we offer country-specific scholarships for study in Canada, Germany, Ireland, Japan, and the United Kingdom.
