- The Applied Portfolio Management Program extensively researches financial data to determine sound investment choices for its portfolio valued at over $1.2 million. This year the Michigan Tech team placed first, beating out teams from 267 universities from 69 countries.
- Accounting students offer tax assistance to members of the local community through the Voluntary Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program.
- Free help is at your fingertips; the Sam B. Tidwell Student Center provides tutoring support in economics, accounting, and statistics.
