Our women's basketball team won the 2009 NCAA Midwest Regional Championship and advanced to the NCAA Division II Elite Eight while maintaining one of the top four highest grade point averages in the nation.
Our nordic ski coach and women's basketball coat were named Coach of the Year in their respective sports
Our hockey team had nine members named to the WCHA Academic Team in 2009.
Fourteen skiers were named to the 2009 National Ski Coaches Association All-Academic Ski Team, thanks to the Michigan Tech Nordic Training Center, one of the best facilities in the nation.
