Advanced Placement, International Baccalaureate, and CLEP are great ways to earn college credit. But you probably already know that. Successful scores will be rewarded with Michigan Tech credit—granted at no cost to you. You must have your official scores sent directly to Michigan Tech from the appropriate testing agency.
You may submit your AP scores individually or at one time using Michigan Tech’s code which is 1464.
Any course schedule changes resulting from the receipt of AP, IB or CLEP credit will be made by the Office of Student Records and Registration. If you wish to waive your AP, IB, or CLEP credit or course placement you may do so.
Credits awarded by another college for AP, IB, or CLEP exams—or other college placement exams—are not transferable.
If you have questions, feel free to contact the Admissions office at 888-688-1885 or email mtu4u@mtu.edu.
