Be Informed.
As a great university with loads of opportunities, we get a lot of applications from bright, talented students across the country. In fact, in a typical year we get applications from every state and more than 80 countries around the world.
So, it’s important for you to know exactly what you need to do in order to get the admissions process rolling. Our staff of caring admissions professionals will go out of their way to make sure your application process is as streamlined and personalized as possible.
Here are a few initial things to keep in mind…
- Priority consideration for admissions, financial aid, and scholarships is given to students who apply for admission by January 15.
- You'll need to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at www.fafsa.ed.gov to be considered for aid like grants, loans, and work study opportunities.
- For first-year applicants, we consider grade point average, American College Test (ACT) and/or Scholastic Assessment Test (SAT) scores, high school courses taken, and class rank (if available).
- Transfer applicants must be in good standing at the college they last attended and meet transfer and course requirements for their desired major.
